PROCESS DESIGN EXPERIENCE: Computer simulations of entire recovery plants including: phenol from water, acetonitrile from water, pentane from air, alcohols from air and water, etc.
Design of unit operations which include:

• Distillation and extraction columns

• Fluid flow: pumping and gravity flow systems

• Heat exchangers: reboilers, condensers, evaporators, interchangers

• Decanters

• Instrumentation and logic for computer control

PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: Final equipment specifications, supervision of procurement of equipment, expediting and inspection, for many chemical purification and recovery processes.

START-UP EXPERIENCE: Instrumentation calibration and tuning, debugging computer control system, hydraulic start-up (water run), initial product start-up, optimization and quality control, trouble shooting existing chemical process equipment, operator training.
